Oklahoma State loses two more wrestlers for the season

Less than a week after we found out that the second ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys would be losing freshman Kaid Brock for the season due to injury, Cowboys head coach John Smith announced that two more wrestlers would be done for the season due to team violations.

The news comes from the Stillwater News Press, which also broke the Kaid Brock story last week. According the SNP, redshirt freshman Chance Marsteller and junior Austin Schafer will be out the rest of the season for the Cowboys.

It is because of those violations and subsequent disciplinary actions that the Cowboys have had to pull the redshirts on true freshmen Joe Smith and Andrew Marsden to fill in the lineup at 157 and 197 pounds respectively.

Marsteller added a tweet earlier today leaving his future up in the air.

Smith will make his debut as an attached wrestler against West Virginia this weekend (and for more on the announcement of Smith you can go here).
