There are not a ton of notable names in our lightest weight class. Both Nick Daggett (NC) and Jake Ferri (MA) are three time state champions. None of the competitors at the weight are nationally ranked. Other state champions in the field Marcelino Aponte the third (NC), Nicholas Aborio (CT), Samuel Braswell (VA), Mark Gonzales (NM), Robert Hartling (CT), and Curtis Lenz (WA).

Michigan commit and #18 at 126 Drew Mattin (OH) leads a strong field of competitors. Other notable wrestlers to watch include multi-time state champions Jonathan Andreatta (CO), Aaron Black (VA), Christopher Derosa (MA), Boo Dryden (KS), Nathan Gainey (MD), Thomas Hicks (TN), Michael Land (AL), Brandon Meikel (UT), Dyland Pelland (KS), Jody Sandoval the 2nd (CO), Kevin Saravia (NC), Jacob Smith (AL), and Joey Thomas (MD).

This weight class is bereft of ranked wrestlers, but has a lot of multiple time state champions including Jacob Baird (NV), Matthew Bolduc (AZ), Kyle Ciscneros (CO), James Cole (OK), Clayton Currier (MT), Sawyer Degan (MT), Hans Forland (CT), Tramone Jenkins (SC), Matt Kelley (MA), Nathan Oakley (NC), Ashdin Schaefer (VT), Bjorn Schroeder (MT) and Charles Thurman (GA).

#13 Grant Willits (CO) and #17 KJ Fenstermacher (PA) seem to be the frontrunners here. This sets up for a great final. Willits is committed to Oregon State, and Fenstermacher is committed to Pittsburgh.

#2 at 145 Navonte Demison (CA), #5 Zach Donathan (OH) at 132, and #17 Jaden Enriquez (CA) are probably the front-runners in this weight class. There should be some awesome semifinals in this weight class.

The 152 lb weight class features #10 at 160 Jake Brindley (FL), #10 Hunter Willits (CO), and #19 Peter Pappis (NY). This weight is much like 138 in that it features 3 hammers who are likely going to be your top three finishers here.

#4 at 152 Stephan Glasgow (NJ) leads the pack at this weight class. Other multi time state champions were Jakob Discher (UT), Nicholas Konovalchik (MA), Bailee Oreilly (MN), Matthew Sells (TN), Tyler Sharron (NH), Anthony Toineeta (NC) AND Christian Walden (LA).

#6 at 182 Bryce Rogers (FL), #9 Andrew Berreyesa (NV), #11 Casey Cornett (KY), #14 at 182 Caleb Little (GA), #15 Hayden Hastings (WY), #14 at 160 Georgio Poullas (OH), and #16 Brit Wilson (MO) headline the deepest field in this tournament. Seven ranked seniors will all being doing battle here and the field is deep enough that some of these guys could even slip out of the top eight. This weight should be amazing.

#17 Casey Randles (ID) is the slight favorite at this weight. Guys in the chase pack include Jesse Shearer (ND), Stanley Smeltzer (VA), Victor Torres-Parra (NV), Jackson Rheault (CT), Carless Looney (WY), Ritchie Heywood (UT), Brandon Cousino (VT), Michael Battista (VA), and Payson Anderton (ID).

There are no ranked wrestlers in this weight class. Guys who have multiple state titles and are likely to contend are Brian Hennessy (MD), Bear Hughes (OK), Carlos Martinez (NC), Eddie Smith (SC), Jared Walker (ID), and Christian White (AZ).

#10 Chei Hill (FL) is the favorite at this weight class. Other multi state champions include Joe Marcano (FL) and Benton Whitley (MA).

#11 Sammy Evans (TN) and #19 Kyron Taylor (FL) are guys to watch at this weight class along with three-time state champion Brian Barnes (OR).
