The U.S. wrestling team looks to be able to send a men’s freestyle team to Iran after all. Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said here on Sunday that Tehran has decided to issue visa for US wrestlers to travel to Iran to attend 2017 Freestyle World Cup.
Earlier this week we received news Iran to deny entry visas to the US team was described as a “reciprocal measure”.
Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif sent out a tweet early Sunday morning.
Unlike the U.S., our decision is not retroactive. All with valid Iranian visa will be gladly welcomed. #MuslimBan 7/7
